Journeying to True Home
How do we locate that place of real peace and thriving: True home? The journey requires steadfastness, presence, and discernment. There are things to hold carefully, and things to shed.
The child's shoe form suggests the incorruptible wonder and enthusiasm necessary to propel us forward – laced with meticulous intention, secured for the road ahead. Underfoot there is a British coin, the Queen's head facing upward. Imperial authority, symbolically trampled. On this expedition to wholeness we carry necessary implements: a bird mask connects us intimately to the natural world; in hand Anansi is ever present, carrying the ancestral wisdom and guidance essential for us to thrive.
